Things you should know about:
Dental Insurance
-
Dental insurance is not meant to cover all fees; it is only meant to be an aid to your investment in your oral health.
-
Not all plans are equal, the amount your plan pays is determined by how much your employer paid for it. In other words, the less your employer paid for the plan the less the benefits which you will receive.
-
Insurance companies will tell their customers that some dentist's fees are above the usual & customary fees rather than admitting that the insurance companies benefits are below the usual & customary fees. Remember, you only receive what your employer puts into the plan minus the profits of the insurance company. Yes that is correct, insurance companies are not non-profit organizations, they are in business to make profits.
